Puggsley
Sweet Puggsley is available for adoption! Puggsley is 3 years old. He is friendly, low in the herd and good with dogs, chickens, sheep, pigs, etc. Puggsley is a blank slate and ready to be started your way. He is halter broke and respects fences. Although he is very sweet and easy to handle, previous mule experience preferred and will take preference. 🫏🖤
Disclaimer: We do not know this mule’s full history prior to his arrival at our rescue. Our assessment is based solely on his behavior and temperament while in our care. As with any animal, adjustment periods and behaviors may vary in a new environment.
The application is on the website, and we will do a vet reference and farrier check. Be sure to call your vet prior to applying to give permission for them to share information with us. There is an adoption fee for Puggsley.
Lurch
Lurch is 1 year old. He is a rambunctious little guy and loves wrestling with his herd mates. Lurch does get along with sheep and pigs, but we would not recommend him for miniature horses or donkeys because of his rough nature with fellow-equines. He is not aggressive, just young and spunky. He should be watched around dogs, as he is a quick-kick to any untrained cattle dogs that may go after him. Lurch is a blank slate and ready to be started your way. He is halter broke and ties pretty well. Since he is so young, previous mule experience IS REQUIRED and we will not entertain beginner level owners for this specific animal. 🫏🖤

Gomez
Gomez is 3 years old. He is a standard size mule. He has such smooth, floating movement and would make a nice riding or driving prospect. Gomez gets along with chickens, dogs, sheep and pigs. He likes to wrestle with the other boys, but is low in the herd. He is halter broke, and leads and ties well. Since he is young and a blank slate, previous mule/donkey experience is preferred and we will not entertain beginner level owners for this specific animal. 🫏🖤

Tater Tot, Juice Box and Pierogi
The boys are looking for a home TOGETHER!! They are one year old Katahdin/Romanov crosses. Castrated and vaccinated. All stand/tip well for sheering and hoof care. Easy to handle. Juice Box is halter trained, Tater Tot and Pierogi are still learning. Respect fencing and very docile, no aggression towards humans. These boys are so easy to maintain and will make their future family very happy.
Jessie
Jessie is the toughest girl you’ll ever meet. Jessie came to us a few years ago after we trapped her when she was dumped in a neighborhood. Two days later, she gave birth. Jessie prefers to live outdoors and would not be happy in a house. She is big and brave and knows how to survive outdoors. She doesn’t like to dig under fences, but will climb, so we will have to double-check your fence before placing her.
Dilly
Dilly is a special needs case. If you have extra funds and don’t mind a lot of maintenance, he’s the guy for you!
